Re-Loading Xactimate and XactNet Addresses

Another Xactimate public service announcement...
If you need to re-install Xactimate due to a crash, the purchace of a new computer, or for any other reason, you will need to re-register your system.
To do this:
- Go to XactCentral
- Click on XactNet at the top of the screen and choose "Register"
- You will be asked is you would like to keep your current Xactnet address, choose "Yes." This will reload your XactNet address into your new program.
It is important to have the same XactNet address so NCA can maintain the profiles they have qualified for you.
If you do not re-register the same XactNet address it is imperative you contact Xactware to re-set your qualified XactNet address.
Xactimate Dual Program

Xactware is offering a "Dual Program" that allows you to have Xatimate 25 and Xatimate 24 loaded on a single computer.
Anyone working daily claims for both Citizens (who switched to 25 August 1st) and for any client not yet on 25 may want to use this service.
The charge is $50 extra per month and a special disc is required for install. Contact Gary Brunko at Xactware for more information 800-424-9228 ext 511
Xactimate 25

There have been lots of questions about upgrading to the newly available Xactimate 25. Here is NCA's official position from Glenn Smith:
Stay with 24 until you are sent to a storm site that requires 25. None of our clients are going to 25 at this time. If you load 25 and are sent to a Nationwide or AmFam storm tomorrow you will have to remove 25 and re-load 24. You will have to reset all Xactnet addresses and all kinds of issues will crop up.
We will keep you posted on the status of our clients upgrading to 25.
